The horrible thing about moving house is unexpectedly finding all the little things you once put away safely and carefully, those lovely memories which needed to be saved and cherished, and realising you can’t remember what they were or why they were at any point in life valuable and important to you.
Even worse is keeping them because you feel bad for you-from-the-past and you don’t want to disappoint her by throwing away memories you no longer care about.
