I tend to overromanticise periods of my life which, for one reason or the other, ended. Every now and then I think back to my days as a high school teacher with nostalgia, toying with the idea of eventually, one day, doing that again.
Today, listening to a bunch of high school girls in a tram, I remembered clearly why I didn’t want to be a high school teacher anymore. Teenagers are incredibly dumb and annoying and they hurt my brain.
